Addressable Control Panel(PAI2000)

Up to 127 line devices (sensors, callpoints, sounders or interface units) can be connected to each of the control panel loops. All loop devices incorporate switch settings enabling them to be assigned a unique address, the location of which is pinpointed and polled by the panel every two seconds. Variations in the sensors environment caused by increases of temperature or products of combustion, are reported to the panel, where they are processed and compared to known fire data, prior to any alarm output being activated.

Analogue addressable systems are rarely installed in a single phase. On larger sites primary buildings and main risk areas are often upgraded as an initial project with others refurbished in subsequent stages.

The PM8 Modular control panel enables up to 8 analogue sensor loops to operate alongside up to 48 conventional detector circuits, all controlled from a single central unit.

The ISDI2000 is an ionization smoke sensor, designed to provide reliable sensing of both visible and invisible products of combustion from fast burning fires. Operating on light scatter principles, the PPDI2000 fully meets the sensitivity requirements of European Standard, EN 54 Pt 7 and is approved by several international approval bodies.

Addressable Callpoint (BGUI2000LED)

The BGUI2000LED is an addressable call point of stylish design, providing a manual means of initiating a fire alarm on PHOTAIN analogue addressable systems. Complying with EN 54 Part 11, the BGUI2000LED is suitable for installations meeting the recommendations of many local codes.

The unit is operated either by pressing a resettable element (EN54 Part 11) or by breaking a frangible glass with finger pressure. Glass elements have clear vinyl coatings on the front surface to prevent operator injury and to inhibit the release of loose fragments as the glass is broken. Both operating elements are easily interchangeable.

Heat Detector (Rate of Rise) (PRRP2004)

Based on advanced thermistor technology, PHOTAIN series of heat detectors, provides a reliable response to fires in areas where environmental conditions prohibit the use of smoke detection.

The PRRP2004 has a static alarm threshold of 135 F (58 C) and operates on the rate of rise of its ambient temperature. The BGUCONV call point is of stylish design, providing a manual means of initiating a fire alarm on photain conventional systems. Complying with EN 54 Part 11, the BGUCONV issuitable for installations meeting the recommendations of many local codes (e.g. BS 5839 Part 1). The callpoint is approved by several international approval bodies, including the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB).
